Ladies amd Gents...We welcome yo'all folks to the hitching up together of Ma and Pa Scrugg's oldest daughter.  As ya'll know Ma and Pa wuz mighty surprised that the Pank boy finally got around to poppin' the question... they wux sure they had an old' maid on they hands...She be nigh on to 16 ya' know!

Before we gits on with this here hitchin'... Let me remind ya' that all guns, knives, sling shots, and chewin' tobaccy haft to be left outside!

Now folks..lets git right on wif this here hitchin' up... Whar's Hank? Should a been here by now ... of well he'll be along di-rectly...


Hanky Pank has second thoughts. Pa Scruggs (Wes Kugler) makes sure he gets to the alter.
The bride Petunia Scruggs (Dawn Drewes) accompanied by brother Bubba Scruggs (Bud Owens) walkin down the aisle.

Here be cuzin Homer escortin' the lovely Miss Daisy Mae...on the thuther side be Zeke will Lilly Mae just a clingin'to his arm...such lovely flowers they grow in the Scruggs fambly.  Whar's the groom... Somebuddy look out yonder and see iffn' you see him...Pansy how bout pleasurin' us with a weddin' ditty while we send somebuddy to fetch  him...

Be happy to oblige you preacher.  This be the song that they sung at my Mammy and Pappy's Weddin' and they be the happiest couple in the Holler...They remember it every day of they lives... They taught all us younguns to abide by these tender words...  "Feudin' n' Fussin' a Fightin'"

Thankee Pansy shore ya inspired all these here folks.. Here comes the groom now..  It's none thuther than "Hankie Pank"...   I believe that Pa Scruggs be showin him the way to the alter...Jest in time too... cuz Bubba Scruggs is brangin' his little sister... Let's be standing up for the the bride... Miss Petunia Mae Scruggs.....

Hanky Pank do you take this here tender blosson... fragile flower to be you wife til' death do you part...

Hank heads for the door but Pa changes his mind...

Petunia:

No... Pa... Please don't shoot him...  He be the onlyest man I could ever love...

Pa Scruggs:

Let's git on with this here hitchin' up preacher...

Anybuddy here got any objections to the weddin of these two younguns... Pa points his gun threatin's anyone who speaks...Thelma Langlois stands and states he ain't signed the divorce papers yet preacher. Preacher says Don't matter.

Then gittin' hongry... I pronunce ya man and wife.  Kiss the bride Hanky Pank... I done made it legal... Petunia puckers up...

Hank blowing his nose and wipin' his tears...

Fellars stay out of the hay loft...

Cuz' of yourns genorosity Pappy went into town and got some store botton chips.

Cuttin the cake.  Hanky can hardly wait to play with the little truck. The honeymoon may have to wait.

The removal of the garter and other unmentionables by Hanky Pank.  Bubba Scruggs passes out the moonshine
while groomsman Homer Brayshaw and Daisy Scruggs (Deloris Lowe) enjoy the music.

We saved the best for last... Pappy and the boys are servin' up the last of the moonshine that the revenooers didn't smash up.
